Pegasus is a 33 foot sea boat fully equipped for wildlife trips. The boat has the latest navigation equipment, radar and radio facilities as well as toilet and galley facilities.

Pegasus has a crew of two and can carry 10 passengers for wildlife observation trips.

The Isle of Man is a significant habitat for many species. The Basking shark is common in the summer months but there's a lot more to see. In Manx waters the crew of the Pegasus have seen Minke Whale, Pilot Whale, Orcas, Harbour Porpoise, Common, Bottlenose and Risso's Dolphin as well as the large number of grey seals.
Looking at Wildife
The Pegasus is a great platform from which to observe wildlife and we have years of experience which will make your trip even more enjoyable and informative. As long-standing Basking shark watchers we would never do anything to disturb these giant gentle creatures - we let them approach the boat. There is nothing quite like seeing a five ton shark, the second largest fish in the world which is the size of a single decker bus, swim right under the boat. Even on a small scale there's so much to see especially in the summer months.
